Privacy policy

Unpour is made by Defineweb Inc. in Ontario, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through the app and this website.

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you add one, a photo.
• Check-ins: whether you stayed dry each day, and when you checked in.
• Game data: points, streaks, badges, leagues, friends, duels and cheers.
• Device data: your time zone, app version and push notification token.
• Messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

We use your information to run the game: to score points, place you in a league matched by time zone, show your progress to friends you add, send reminders you turn on, and reply when you contact us. We do not use it for advertising.

Friends you add can see whether you checked in dry. You can hide this at any time.

Other players in your league only see your first name and weekly points, never your check-ins.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with service providers that help us run Unpour, such as our sign-in, database and hosting providers, and only for that purpose.

Our service providers may store and process your information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, it may be accessible to authorities there under local law.

We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Delete your account in Settings, or email privacy@unpour.app and we will reply within 30 days.

Unpour is only for people who are at least the legal drinking age where they live. See the terms of use.

If we make a change that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
